Nicki Minaj blasted shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti in Twitter spat

Nicki Minaj called out to Italian shoe designer Giusepe Zanotti for alleged disrespect of the artist by not giving her the proper paycheck in using her name in some of his sneakers.

In a Twitter rant, the Anaconda singer pointed out that the designer has designed 23 pairs of sneakers and named it after Nicki. Minaj, however, announced that the designer did not give her the right sum due to her as Zanotti thinks that she ‘ain’t worth a collection.’

“#RunMeMyCheck #GiuseppeWhatsGood I got time today.  Barbz, trend this cuz he gon’ learn today. The racism & disrespect won’t (be) tolerated,” she announced in her social media as reported by USA Today.

The songstress clarified that the rant is not all about the money but more of feeling disrespected. Given that Zanotti will grant her paycheck, the singer is planning to give the sum to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In a separate Instagram post, the 34-year old singer urged the designer and his PR team to take action to her complaint and suggested that their respective reps may want to discuss about the matter, according to E! Online.

“So tired of ppl taking my kindness for weakness. Free @giuseppezanottidesign read your comments then hit up your accountant my n–. U not takin WHO call sir?????”

Zanotti collaborated with celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Zayn Malik, Beyonce, Rihanna and Kanye West among others. In one interview with Footwear News, the shoe mogul even shared that he likes collaborating with celebs from the music industry ‘a lot.’

Since Nicki Minaj took the matter to Twitter, the hashtag #GiuseppeWhatsGood became trending. However, the designer and his camp is yet to adress the matter. Nevertheless, the Bang Bang singer announced that the designer took down images of sneakers bearing her name in the company site, US Magazine said.
